HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY

Healthcare Solution
The Challenge
In this project our client was a healthcare technology organization that offers data-driven solutions and technology-enabled services to help healthcare providers, payers, and patients communicate more effectively. The client request was to develop an HL7-FHIR compliant solution for end clients, allowing patients who transition to new providers and payers to quickly access their clinical and insurance information, as well as locate resources for medical treatment.
Our Solution
EastWestCode completed the project by implementing 80 REST APIs that link to resource domain objects and achieving minimum viable product status.. Converting multiple data and application formats to comply with the HL7-FHIR architecture, constructing middleware components, generating web pages to present content, establishing high-availability for databases, and establishing authorized access rules, and deploying development and sandbox environments on AWS to test and demo the APIs were all part of the project.
End Result
We not only completed the technical part of the project but also gave significant assistance to the sales team. Customers were anxious to see the APIs in operation so they could be certain that the solution would be ready in time to meet the compliance deadline. By using the AWS demo environment we demonstrated how the APIs function and how simple it is for third-party developers to interface with the APIs.

LOGISTICS INDUSTRY

Truck Driver App
The Challenge
Our customer works in the construction industry where a lot of end clients are involved and connected such as contractors, brokers, shippers, and material manufacturers. Our client was using application on which tickets were slow, a lot of time was spent on paperwork and drivers were dissatisfied as the payments were not on time. This was creating a fatal circle and our client was in a desperate need of an effective system as soon as possible.
Our Solution
We had to redesign the original app in a way that would suit the everyone’s needs and be time efficient. But the software was not ready for such scale. We chose Swift for the iOS app and we began bringing in active input from driver-partners to make the platform easier to use. A person has been designated as the Point of Contact for drivers who have questions while on the job. We used Firebase for analytics across the Android and iOS applications, acting as an extension of our client's IT arm. We introduced Angular web app which instantly retrieves a truck's weighted load and produces a ticket. Also we developed a custom mobile app that improves jobsite visibility for Superintendents and Foremen by keeping the crew informed of truck movement and load.
Our Solution
We expanded the scope of our first agreement to assist our customer in pushing the boundaries of its business. This entailed us working closely with the salesmen, providing customer support, and assisting them in transitioning away from the old system. Now, their driver-partners have registered over 200,000 trips on our client's app, served over 2,000 businesses, and carried over 6,000,000 tons of cargo!

FINTECH INDUSTRY

White Glove Service
The Challenge
The client is a premier white glove service company situated in the United States that specializes in storage, shipping, and wardrobe management. They needed a Magento professional team to create a new membership-based website as well as a consignment and delivery web application.
Our Solution
Our skilled team managed to make customized Magento web application that functions as a private virtual closet by storing, maintain, and delivering clothing and accessories on-demand. As addition we fully customized the registration portal and made a lot of integrations as “My closet” page for logged users and the function to scan barcodes for better tracking of clothing. Not to be mentioned that we made sure the web portal is compatible with the most recent desktop browsers, iOS, and Android devices.
End Result
By creating a super-functional private virtual closet area, we assisted the client in realizing their dream of providing a secure, and convenient location to keep their clients’ valuable apparel. Now, the website and online application’s mutual functioning makes it easy to access each item for pickup, consignment, and delivery.

BANKING INDUSTRY

Payment Processing App
The Challenge

One of our Asian fintech clients asked us to develop a web app project that can withstand to the large number of users that check in to the app at the same time. They had strict requirements – It should be extremely scalable and handle and execute payments for workers/employees of various government agencies as well as to allow many individuals (5+ million employees) to track the ongoing progress and get updates and alerts about their assigned responsibilities via their chosen channels. The user experience (UX) must provide constant interaction with team members (contributors), the company, the product, and its end customers. And last but not least it should produce payments via a centralized banking API.

Our Solution
We began working on application scalability before the development process, taking into consideration the web app’s high-load demand. Then, keeping the code clean we created the architectural diagram and payment methods. At the end we completed bank integration successfully, making the bank’s services available to other third-party organizations via APIs. We developed a smooth integration approach that enables quick payment distribution to a big number of persons at once.
End Result
Not only we finished the project flawlessly but we also were honored to become one the client`s official IT partners for long term projects. Our detailed approach, strategic planning and skilled execution won the client and we collaborated on four other projects for development and management, as well as two management ones only.

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Business Processes Unification
The Challenge
With over 100 worldwide locations and 5,000 employees, our client needed to develop a technological system that could act as a global source of customer and property knowledge. Our customer also desired more control over their activities. For this to happen they needed to become more independent of the numerous license and software providers with whom they were collaborating.
Our Solution
This is the story of the birth of the “hub” - a unique technological solution meant to make it easier for brokers to link clients with homes from inside a single application. .The solution, called ‘hub,’ is a worldwide CRM as well as a residential and commercial property transaction management system. It contains a variety of unique features and functionalities connected to real estate and property market transactions, such as managing customers’ requirements, activities, and tenancies, paperless contracts automated content translation and more.
End Result
Creating the ‘hub’ was a critical step in the company’s digital transition. The hub manages a portfolio of millions of connections, properties, and enterprises for our client’s branches in six countries and four continents. Currently, approximately 4,000 users utilize ‘hub’ daily. Since its implementation, ‘hub’ has assisted our client in navigating the obstacles provided by Covid-19, responding quickly to changing requirements, and supporting the company at one of its busiest periods in its operational history.

INSURANCE INDUSTRY

Identity & Access Management Program
The Challenge

EastWestCode was hired by a big insurance company to develop a tech-enabled platform for home services. We needed to guarantee that internal personnel and consumers had access to private and occasionally sensitive data while also safeguarding access to backend services. Despite having a traditional IAM solution in place, the client discovered that it still need assistance with: Modernizing their login and access patterns so they can be safe from malicious files and software; Centralizing their authentication systems for improved administration and security and providing programmatic API access to user identity management while adhering to security and architecture best practices.

Our Solution
Due to our previous experience with IAM applications we were able to tackle this task without hesitations or any troubles down the way. FusionAuth was chosen as the project’s authentication and user management platform. FusionAuth is lightweight, seamlessly interacts with many frameworks, and is simple to deploy. Then our team applied Istio and Opa policies to the client’s many microservices. We utilized the user’s authenticated session to grant or deny access to the microservice or submit a request to it.
End Result
This insurance firm now has an IAM program that automates user authentication throughout the whole enterprise’s portfolio of microservices and is integrated into a single system. The increased automation and enhanced processes resulted in a 60% decrease of the resource effort required for continuing manual maintenance.
